CURRENT
SITUATION OF MY INVESTMENTS IN THE
CIG
REIT/VENTURE CAPITAL FUNDS (SCHEME-II)
My Investment was
initiated in the year 2006/2007 Time frame. At the time of Investment lots of
promises were given about the Funds perspective by the CEO Mr. Deepak Bajaj. I
have been following CIG Investment
Newsletter faithfully for the past several years with an expectation to get a
full perspective on my Investments with CIG.
Till this day I have
not received any detailed perspective from the Fund itself. I have tried several
modes to get more information. I have not been successful in doing that. Every
call or message sent to them either not answered or just this “READ OUR
NEWSLETTER”
The Newsletter or the
Current Audited reports does not give the requisite information other than the
monotonous and verbiage. The current
situation within the funds looks gloomy, with increased Liabilities and Draw
down in their cash holdings. But, the Newsletter predicts such a rosy outlook without
any substantiating basis. So this leaves the Investor like me in a lurch.
If anyone has similar
experience with your investments with CIG, pls. feel free to share your inputs
in my twitter/Linkedin page OR HERE. A possible and
reasonable outcome can be arrived at, if healthy exchange of views and ideas from
the concerned investors flow in a common platform. Request your support and co-operation; in
recovering our Investments from CIG and also show the company that the
Investors are essential to Investments such as these at the same token they are
not gullible.

Hello All,
ReplyDeleteWith the Govt taking over the projects, is there a light at the end of the tunnel and we get at least something back.
Regards
RAJ
I had received an email to choose from a couple of options a few months back. After that, no communication. Has anybody heard anything?
ReplyDeleteI have not received or heard anything from them either. About couple of months back, as I was in Hyderabad I talked to one Mr Yadav from Unitech office that I could help in off loading their land parcel in Hyderabad but he bluntly rejected it.
ReplyDeleteNow with the Hon. Supreme Court directing the Govt to complete the projects, hopefully we can see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Meanwhile I suggest three actions from this group:
- Form a whats app group for us to communicate. My no is 9989230222
- As a group write to the Hon. Supreme Court to inform the Govt and board of our plyight. If we write as a group they will at least look into it, was I was told.
- Finally hire a lawyer to represent us legally.

Hello Sunil
ReplyDeleteInvestor capital contribution to CIG/UNITECH is not going to go evanescent to SEBI/SFIO or other Govt bodies...What is going to happen once the Spigot opens...Keep positive you can see the light at the end of the tunnel...
Any updates on this?
ReplyDeleteHello Manohar...I wish I had some great news, apparently not at this juncture. All at standstill for the Supreme court outcome on pay out details for Investors like You & I...Do you have any strategy to go after Unitech
ReplyDeleteHello Narayan, I recently took a look at the resolution framework document (available via an Internet search) prepared in response to the Supreme Court order. As per this document, a prayer has been made that the CIG funds may be directed not to dispose off any unit/land allocated or sold to them, the reason being that the electronic records pertaining to the funds seem to be missing. Other details are available in the resolution framework document.
DeleteI am not sure whether this is good news or bad news for us.
Hello Manohar....Good that you are keeping a good eye on the documents that are available on line...If you could send me the link so that I can read the article to its entirety, I will be send you my comments on it...
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping in touch
Narayan

DeleteHello Narian, I think we will not be able to get back our money till we make a group and approach the Supreme Court where CIG REALITY fund 2 is being perceived as Chandra's personal fund. Let every investor put his address and number and email so that some steps can be taken
ReplyDeleteI got to learn about this blog today.
ReplyDeleteI am an investor in CIG-2 Fund.
